Ed’s career has spanned the environmental services & training industry as well as the IT software & hardware industries. He has worked in Europe, Asia, North America and Africa. Ed has a Law Degree (LLB) from Stellenbosch University.
Ken Ross
Technical Director
Ken is a Professional Electrical Engineer and Certified Energy Manager who has specialised in environmental efficiency and renewable energy. Ken has worked with the largest commercial and industrial companies in Southern Africa to build and implement strategies to reduce the usage of energy, water, waste and carbon emissions. Ken has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and an MEng in Renewable and Sustainable Energy from Stellenbosch University.
Fred Hagelberg
Business Development Director
Fred’s career has grown from business development in the alternative investment markets to leadership in the environmental consulting market. His passion is helping clients develop strategies to find their respective ‘Eco Advantage’ by understanding sustainability as a strategic imperative in their business. Fred is an environmental expert with significant experience having engaged with some of the largest companies in Southern Africa. He has travelled extensively and worked in the E.U., the Caribbean and sub-Saharan Africa.
David Bonellie
Carbon and Sustainability Manager
David is a carbon, energy and sustainability professional with a wealth of experience in carbon footprinting, emission reduction strategies, sustainability gap assessments and climate change strategies for large multinational ICT, steel, oil & gas, mining, pulp and paper, property funds and chemical industry clients. His priority is to identify the economic value to all projects highlighting risks and opportunities with a monetary value behind them. Further experience includes work in assurance, legal compliance and climate adaptation strategy.
Jacques Loftus
General Manager – Namibia
Jacques has been in the environmental services industry for more than 6 years. He has been instrumental in assisting Namibian companies to ensure that the most sustainable businesses are also the most profitable. With more than 18 years of experience in sales and marketing roles across sub Saharan Africa, Jacques spends much of his time working with company executives to help them identify opportunities of reducing costs and increase revenue, mainly through optimising energy efficiency, water efficiency and introducing renewable energy.
